The New Jersey American Revolution Geo Trail will showcase many historic places across New Jersey waiting to be explored and will bring American history alive.
Travel and explore '76 historic locations from the cliffs of Fort Lee where Thomas Paine wrote "These are the times that try mens souls" witnessing the British attack on New Jersey forcing Washington to abandoned the fort escape through New Jersey to the safety across the Delaware river into Pennsylvania.
Along your journey you to see where major battles took place at Short Hills, Monmouth and Princeton. Follow the route where Washington made the daring Christmas Eve crossing on his march and captured the Hessian's in Trenton.
During your adventure you will walk in the footsteps of British and Continental Soldiers, see where Tories disrupted to cause for freedom, and where Patriots fought for independence to form a new nation.
